Most landscape failures happen at install. Plants set too deep, planted into un-amended sand or clay-fill, mulched to the trunk, watered by an untuned irrigation system. The design was fine. The install killed it.
Our install process exists to prevent that.
What we do differently
- Mounded planting for fruit trees and anything that hates wet feet — non-negotiable for avocados, mangoes on flat lots, and most tropicals.
- Real soil work — organic amendment based on what's actually in the ground, not a template.
- Vetted nursery stock — we source from growers we know. No leftover big-box seconds.
- Mulch installed to spec — 3–4 inches, coarse organic, out to the drip line, and never against the trunk.
- Irrigation zoned for the plants — young trees on their own zone, natives on drip, turf reduced or eliminated.
- We stay after install — establishment visits during the first months to catch problems early.
Common questions
How is installation priced?
Installations start around $15/sq ft for planted areas and scale up with complexity — mounded planting, hardscape, irrigation, and tree size all change the number. We provide a detailed proposal after the design is complete.
Do you install someone else's design?
Occasionally, if the plan is solid. Most of our installs are of our own designs so we know the plant list, soil requirements, and phasing intimately.
Do you warranty the plants?

How long does an install take?
Small residential installs run 1–3 days. Larger phased projects run over weeks or across seasons. We phase around Florida's planting windows for the best establishment.
